AEROSOL TECHNOLOGY FOR A SAFE WORKPLACE
At Workplace Products, we want to minimise the risks of lithium battery fires. They can cause significant damage to personal belongings or the surrounding area if left unnoticed. To counteract this, Probe has designed the UK's first Fire Suppression Charging Locker, helping to provide peace of mind to a variety of workplaces.
A heat detection cable has been added to the locker and trails down into all 10 individual compartments. If heat from a fire is detected within the locker, this cable will send a signal to the aerosol system at the top of the locker. Filled with a waterless AF-X Fireblocker, it is released into the locker and trickles down each compartment thanks to the pierced holes and vents.
This ability to rapidly detect and stop fires minimises the amount of fire damage caused. This can save organisations time, money and resources that they may require elsewhere. Additionally, the aerosol has been designed to be safe and harmless to humans, animals and the environment. By doing so, further damage can be reduced when the fire is put out inside the locker.

In addition, an anti-bacterial coating helps prevent the growth and spread of harmful germs. CHARGING OPTIONS FOR USABILITY
There is no universal method of charging devices or small power tools. That is why we offer this 10-door charging locker with a diverse range of charging options. Options include a UK 3-Pin, USB-C and A or a combination of all three in each compartment. This can help to charge a variety of devices in a safe and efficient manner. Please note that only two devices should be charged at once in each individual compartment to minimise the risk of fires.
Our Fire Suppression Fire Lockers have been engineered with a heavy-duty power spine running along the right-hand side of each locker compartment. This is what provides each compartment a high-quality charge to ensure devices are ready for instant use. Built-in vents in the doors prevent the build-up of heat inside the locker, a key cause for charging locker fires.
Additionally, the robust steel construction enhances durability, making the unit suitable for demanding environments such as schools and staff changing rooms. The locker system is also designed for ease of use, with clearly organised compartments that allow users to store and retrieve devices quickly and efficiently.
LOCKS FOR SECURE STORAGE
Having the correct lock to access the locker compartment can help to keep a productive workforce. As standard, these lockers come with a cam lock, which is accessed via a key. Each compartment comes with two keys, which can be distributed to workers with ease. The Probe Cam lock has a large array of 2,000 serial combinations, helping to prevent duplicate lock barrels even in large locker runs.
For more independent security, opting for a Hasp and Staple Lock may be worthwhile. Each user can provide their own padlock to use to secure the lock shut. This is great for environments where user turnover is high, as new users with their own padlock can temporarily use the locker when they want to charge their devices or store their belongings.
Thinking of becoming a keyless workplace? The Tumbler Combination lock is the perfect option for those seeking to minimise the risk of losing keys. With up to 10,000 codes available to choose from, users can simply enter their code and twist the lock to enter the compartment. This is a highly protective method of keeping devices secure as they charge.

The compartments within this locker have a height of 149mm, making them perfect for storing laptops, mobile phones and tablets. These lockers are perfect for charging tablets and laptops within school settings. These handheld devices can be kept in a lockable unit that only authorised members of staff can open, minimising the risk of students taking the devices without permission.
