Ask Our Experts at Workplace Products
Posted on May 21st 2026 by Hannah Tilley.

As leading UK suppliers, we offer a wide range of workplace essentials designed to transform your workspace. With such an extensive product selection, you may have a few questions, so we’ve compiled some frequently asked questions to ask our experts to make the process as simple as possible.
Can I order a Bespoke Option?
The easy answer is YES! For many of our products, we can offer bespoke options such as different sizes, finishes, worktops and accessories to make the item customisable for your workplace requirements. Bespoke orders are particularly common when buying workbenches, lockers and barriers where you may need a load capacity or specific requirement beyond our product selection. Our team of experts will work with you by drawing up CAD Designs, free site visits and more to ensure the design meets all your needs.
Do you offer Installation Services?
Yes! Many of our customers opt for installation for projects such as lockers, workbenches, security barriers and cycle shelters. Lockers can be bolted onto the wall for extra security, to prevent them from falling. In addition, both security safety barriers and cycle shelters can be bolted into the ground for security which our installation team can complete. It is ideal for barrier projects, with our team taking responsibility for planning and organising the walkway to protect the equipment you need, whilst installing efficiently to save time.
Whilst you cannot add installation services when checking out online, if you contact our friendly team we can add this to your quotation to book our team in. P.S. If you are requesting a quote simply tick yes to installation for this to be included in your quotation. 🔧

How do I get a site visit?
You can request a site visit via our website on Request a Quote by ticking the site visit. A site visit is where our specialist team will come down to your premises, allowing time to measure up, establish your needs and provide recommendations and free advice to help you on your latest project. A site visit is ideal for large projects with multiple products such as racking, lockers, workbenches, site barriers and more.
Following our site visit, we go away and create CAD designs of your project for any bespoke options and plan out your space to utilise every corner. 📍
How do we order with branded colours?
Online, we sell our items as standard, but requesting a quote or site visit allows you to specify any branded and bespoke options you require. Across many of our projects, we have implemented branded colours to reflect your brand and match your interior.
💡Get some inspo – Check out one of our favourite branded projects in our blog here!
Branded projects are a common request across lockers, workbenches and Euroslide cabinets for garages.
Are your items delivered assembled?
In comparison to cheaper products on the market, many of our products come fully assembled ready to go, saving you both time and hassle. Across our website, our products come fully assembled unless stated otherwise in the product description. Products such as workbenches are fully assembled with your own assembly of under-bench storage. This allows you to place the storage to suit your personal preference as well as any above-bench accessories you’ve purchased.
Generally, our products that come pre-assembled include:
- Lockers
- Hazardous Cupboards
- Cupboards & Cabinets
What is Tail Lift Delivery?
Tail lift delivery is an optional extra that you can add to your basket when shopping for products on our website. It is typically ideal for heavier products that would require extra strength for offloading. Adding the tail lift delivery means you will have a smoother delivery process with the driver offloading from the back of the vehicle using a tail lift and placing your order kerbside for you to receive the order. This prevents you from manually offloading your order to prevent the order from being rejected.
Please note: All of our deliveries are kerbside, although we offer installation services if required.
Answering your product FAQ’s
Furthermore, we are answering the frequent questions we get asked by you, the customer! These are often across our live chat feature as well as phone calls.
What’s the difference between cam lock and swivel latch locks for lockers?
A cam lock is a standard locker option, that restricts access to belongings with the use of 2 keys supplied. This is ideal to give responsibility to older students and is ideal for those using the same locker everyday. In comparison, a swivel latch lock turns but does not securely lock without the use of your own padlock. This is ideal for locker compartments that require access or are shared e.g use in gyms and primary schools. 🔐
What should I store in a CoSHH Cabinet?
No matter what the work environment, there will be items that are seen as everyday yet are still dangerous in the wrong hands. For example, items to be stored in CoSHH Cabinets include cleaning agents such as bleach, aerosols, paints, chemicals and more. A cabinet will collect any spillages or leaks in the bottom sump for an easy cleanup using absorbents.
What does UDL mean?
UDL stands for uniformly distributed load. This reflects the load capacity for the item and how the weight load must be spread across the equipment. Across our website, it is commonly referred to for shelving and workbenches to ensure products and equipment are not placed solely on one side, but evenly distributed.
What does ESD mean?
ESD is short for electrostatic discharge. It refers to the static discharge given when working in electrical areas and components such as sensors, circuit boards and more. Buying specialist ESD equipment is ideal to create an ESD-protected area to meet workplace compliance and more.
We sell a range of ESD matting and ESD Workbenches to create a safe ESD-protected space to reduce the likelihood of damage to components and electrical shocks to employees.⚡️
What’s the Max Lift Height for Scissor Lifts
We have a range of lift heights across our scissor lifts range from smaller to larger lift heights to reach workbenches, tables and provide an extended workbench area. The largest lift height in the TUFF range is 1300mm high which is our 350kg TUFF Double Scissor Lift Trolley. If you require something more heavy-duty to take larger loads, our 2000kg Triple Scissor Lift Table features a 3000mm lift height.
How to buy to lift our barriers for my space?
We know shopping for safety barriers can be overwhelming when you’re not sure what size or layout you require. To solve this, we recommend booking a free site visit to assess your layout. These barriers are ideal to protect staff, the public and create a clear walkway to protect equipment from damage from forklifts.
Alternatively, you can shop our range by choosing your modular system to suit your space. In addition, you can shop using kits including straight kits, corner kits and Z-style corner kits.
How do the New Regulations affect my bin?
From 31 March 2026, councils will roll out a scheme to all households in England where food waste must be separated from general waste. This is a legal requirement in the ‘Simpler Recycling’ regulations, created by the Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs. It is something all households will need to comply with and involve using several waste bins to segregate your waste prior to collection.
