Project – School Classroom & Cloakroom Lockers
Posted on January 11th 2021 by Jordan Belfort.
In 2020 we received an enquiry from a Primary School looking to update their changing facilities. They needed more storage and wanted to offer their students secure locker spaces. This project would also include a few particular requirements. The school needed specific sizes and functionality to make them suitable for their corridors and room shapes.
Choosing Armour School Lockers
After talking through the school’s requirements our sales team decided Armour School Lockers would be the best fit. Not only do they have a wide range of sizes to pick from they also provide excellent value for money. We were able to suggest the popular 1380mm tall School Lockers with three compartments. These are perfect for children of all ages because they’re are not as tall as traditional steel locker storage. We also arranged the custom locker door colour layout, mixing the door colours to make them more interesting for a primary school setting.

Specific Requirements
There were a number of specific requirements these lockers needed to meet for the school. First of all, they needed the lowered overall height to allow younger students access. Apart from this, the more specific requirement was to try and avoid any of the central heating pipes in each room. To do this we fitted lockers stands to a few of the locker nests.
By carefully positioning and selecting correct widths, we were successfully able to avoid any pipes. The lockers were fitted with ease and the locker stands allow for easier cleaning and maintenance.
