Posted on March 29th 2017 by Jordan Belfort.
After launching with a media day at Donington, the 2017 season of the BTCC kicks off with its first official race this weekend, the Brands Hatch Indy. From there the season will run until the final race back at Brands Hatch at the end of September. Eurotech Racing, the team we at Workplace Products sponsor, will be aiming to open up the season with a successful race at the historic Kent track.
There have been some major changes for the team since the last season, including a new signing. Jack Goff signed with the team in January and will be partnering with driver Jeff Smith in the team’s pair of Honda Civic Type Rs. This new duo will surely be aiming to follow up the Championship win the team achieved back in 2013.
The Tamworth Workshop
Eurotech Racing’s base of operations is its state of the art 8,000 square foot workshop based in Tamworth, the backbone that the team’s success depends on. This will be the first season where the team will get to take full advantage of having such a high-tech premises, kitted out by Workplace Products with the Euroslide brand of workbenches and cabinets.
Since late last year the team has been using this equipment in the workshop to develop their vehicles and bring them to the peak of their performance.
The range of Euroslide cabinets and workbenches Eurotech Racing are using offer up some useful advantages, not just limited to the excellent continuity between the brand name and the team name. The range is designed specifically with workshops and garages in mind. Each unit has an all steel construction, with the main carcass of each one coated in a tough Light Grey paint. This means there is no need for the team to worry about rust and corrosion or being too heavy handed with the units, they can just get on with the job at hand.
Customised for the workspace
All of the items in the range are designed to work together. As you can see the Eurotech Racing team has opted to have their cabinets positioned together, creating a large worktop space at each station which can also cater for their storage needs. The Euroslide range features central locking and anti-tilt drawers to add more strength but also additional security to ensure any valuable items stay right where they are meant to.
The range of Euroslide workbenches come with an abundance of different modules, with various amounts of drawers and cupboard spaces available, and a choice between a beech or laminate worktop suitable for any work process. All of the Euroslide products are also manufactured in the UK to help ensure that these heavy duty items are produced to the highest possible standard.
