Today is Falls Prevention Awareness Day!

The University of Oxford has found that over 4,000 major workplace injuries happen annually. This is a statistic we aim to help reduce, as we want to ensure both employers and employees feel safe in the workplace. Not only does preventing falls stop workers from having to take time off from work to recover, but it can also help boost workplace morale and improve productivity. This is due to workers feeling safe within their workplace, and not worried about being involved in a sudden workplace accident.

Preventing Falls When Using Ladders 🪜

Almost every year since 2001/02, falling from height has been the leading cause of workplace deaths. This indicates that workplaces have a major task on their hand to prevent fatalities within the workplace. Doing this can lead to improved workplace productivity, as individuals will not feel worried about falling whilst completing daily tasks.
