• Separates and regulates flows of traffic
• It makes crossing easier, protects pedestrians, reduces danger at crossings and on roads at the beginning and at the exit of a town, etc.
• The semicircular traffic island is of modular structure and is
available in two sizes
• Made of unmixed rubber granules. Absorbs impact forces far
more efficiently than rigid materials such as concrete or plastic
• Each Island consists of an outer ring which is bolted to the road surface and of two inner parts. Note: For extremely busy roads
it is recommend to also glue the outer ring to the road surface
• The inner parts feature a recess (60mm) to house the traffic sign posts. The stability of the outer ring also makes an assembly
without inner parts possible. The inner space of the traffic island
can then be landscaped or filled with pebble gravelAdvantages:
