STEP 1 - COMPUTE HEIGHT DIFFERENTIAL
Measure height differences of truck floor levels above and below your Dock level as shown. The greatest mm of difference is the height differential dimension.

STEP 2 - SELECT DOCK PLATE OR DOCK BOARD WIDTHS
Minimum 305mm wider than equipment
General width recommendations - Hand trucks 2-wheel 915mm. Platform trucks - 4-wheel 1220mm. Pallet trucks - 1220mm. Forktrucks - (minimum) 1525mm

STEP 3 - DETERMINE MAXIMUM AXLE LOAD
Always use 100% of gross weight
