Speed Cushions

• Suitable for speed reduction within 5 and 20 mph zones
• For use on straight roads and at intersections
• Recommended where speed reduction at specific points is required e.g. near kindergartens, schools, nursing homes etc. Speed Cushions are particularly suitable for transition from 30 mph to 20 mph zones as their presence makes drivers aware of
the need to reduce speed
• The low height of the Speed Cushions (65mm) enables them to be negotiated by all types of vehicles
• We do not recommend installing the Speed
Cushions in a transverse direction, as they do not feature safety reflective strips on the side edges• It is however possible to provide on-site thermoplastic road markings in front of the Speed Cushions
• Speed Cushions are divided style plateau cushions and so therefore will not affect existing road drainage
